Job Title: Road Maintenance Driver

This is a fantastic opportunity to start your career in road maintenance and driving. As a Road Maintenance Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating company vehicles to and from worksites and depots.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate company vehicle to and from worksites and depots
  • Assist with various tasks such as grass cutting, litter picking, cleaning signage, hedge trimming, and other upkeep duties along road networks
  • Operate basic tools and equipment safely (training provided)
  • Carry out general site maintenance and ensure work areas are safe and tidy
  • Fulfill all health, safety, and environmental guidelines
  • Work effectively as part of a team while also being able to take initiative when required

Candidate Requirements:

  • Hold a Full B driving licence (6+ months' driving experience desirable)
  • No prior experience in road maintenance or landscaping necessary – full training will be given
  • Be willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Show reliability, good communication skills, and a positive attitude

Working Hours:

  • 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
  • Standard shifts:Monday to Thursday: 07:00 – 15:30Friday: 06:00 – 14:30
  • Availability for on-call duties outside of normal hours is required
