Road Maintenance Assistant

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and skilled individual to start their career in road maintenance. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our company's vehicle fleet while also contributing to the upkeep of our road network.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a company vehicle safely to and from worksites and depots
  • Assist with various road maintenance tasks such as grass cutting, litter picking, cleaning signage, hedge trimming, and other upkeep duties along road networks
  • Perform general site maintenance and ensure work areas are safe and tidy
  • Follow all health, safety, and environmental guidelines
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Full driving license (6+ months' driving experience desirable)
  • No prior road maintenance or landscaping experience required – full training will be provided
  • Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Reliable, with good communication skills and a positive attitude
