Rigid Road Maintenance Operative

The following are the key requirements for this role:

  • Valid C or CE driving license with a minimum of 6 months experience.
  • Full clean driving license required.
  • Valid Safe Pass is essential.
  • Manual handling certification is an advantage (training can be provided).
  • Traffic management experience desirable (training provided).
  • Experience in the civil, construction, or road maintenance industry is a plus.

The working hours for this position are as follows:

  • 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
  • Standard shifts: Monday to Thursday: 07:00 15:30
  • Friday: 06:00 14:30

Availability for on-call work outside standard hours is required. The pay structure for this role includes the following elements:

  • Base Rate: €17.40 €17.80 per hour
  • Night Shift Premium (1.3x): €22.62 €23.14
  • Overtime (1.5x after 40 hours): €26.10 €26.70
  • Winter/Emergency On-Call (1.75x): €30.45 €31.15
  • Sunday/Bank Holiday (2x): €34.80 €35.60
  • Tax-Free Daily Subsistence: €8.28
  • Weekly On-Call Allowance: €190
