We are looking for an experienced Front Desk Supervisor Lead to join our client's team at a 4-star hotel in Wicklow.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the front office, ensuring a professional and welcoming experience for guests.

Job Description:

The Front Desk Supervisor Lead will be responsible for:

  • Leading and supervising the front office team, ensuring outstanding customer service at all times.
  • Overseeing the check-in and check-out processes, ensuring smooth, accurate, and efficient procedures.
  • Responding to guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests promptly and professionally.
  • Ensuring all reservations and billing procedures are handled accurately.
  • Providing training and support to the reception team.
  • Assisting in creating staff schedules, ensuring the front desk is adequately staffed at all times.
  • Monitoring front desk operations, ensuring adherence to hotel policies and procedures.
  • Collaborating closely with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
  • Assisting the Front Office Manager with administrative tasks and reporting.
  • Ensuring health, safety, and security protocols are consistently followed within the department.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a supervisory role in a similar environment.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and hotel management software is a plus.
  • A proactive, guest-focused approach with excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays (Monday to Sunday).
  • A positive attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
