Dynamic Pricing Actuary Role
We are excited to be working with a leading insurance company that is hiring for a Personal Lines Pricing Actuary. We are seeking a highly skilled actuary, ideally with a background in personal lines; however, other relevant experience will also be considered. This role is based in Dublin.
About the Personal Lines Pricing Role:
The successful candidate will join our dynamic pricing team. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Modelling: Translating technical price changes into street pricing and customer behavior modeling.
- Leading pricing inputs and supporting key business processes.
- Organizing and delivering presentations on latest pricing developments to colleagues.
- Monitoring the changing regulatory environment internally and locally, and assessing its impact on existing and new business opportunities.
- Maintaining pricing procedures and underwriting guidelines.
The role is suitable for a qualified actuary. Applicants should have an actuarial background and ideally possess:
- Knowledge of the Irish insurance market.
- Strong experience in personal lines (preferred).
- Strong analytical and technical skills.
- Experience with SQL, Emblem, and Radar.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills.
