About the RoleThe selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring service users' needs are being met. This involves teaching daily living and social skills through daily activities, establishing and maintaining positive relationships with service users, engaging in activities and completing household tasks, and keeping accurate records of service user documentation.
Requirements- A degree in Applied Social Studies/Social Care or relevant qualification eligible for CORU registration or be CORU Registered.
- Minimum 3 years' experience working with adults/children with intellectual disabilities.
- Proven managerial skills with a minimum of three years' experience at a management level and an appropriate management qualification of a minimum of a QQI level 6.
- Experience managing residential services.
- Experience in managing behaviours that challenge.
- Good organisation and communication skills.
