Leadership Role in Adult Autism Service

This leadership position is responsible for overseeing the overall management of an Adult Autism Accredited Service. As a key figure, you will ensure the highest standards of service to residents and manage staff.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Service Management: Oversee daily operations, ensuring compliance with HIQA standards and implementation of policies and procedures.
  • Staff Management: Lead and develop the staff team, providing mentorship, leadership, supervision, appraisals, and regular team meetings.
  • Care Planning: Coordinate appointments with the multi-disciplinary team and regularly review and update high-quality care plans.
  • Resident Support: Support residents to have choice and control in their lives, develop citizenship, maintain relationships, and access professional supports as needed.
Requirements:
  • Education: QQI Level 7 Degree in Social Care or a degree in another relevant Allied Healthcare related discipline.
  • Experience: Minimum of three years' experience in a management or supervisory role in the Health or Social Care sector.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
