About the Role

This is a senior management position that plays a key role in delivering and continuously improving residential services.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing teams, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and driving quality improvement initiatives.

They will be responsible for overseeing referrals, admissions, and transition processes, as well as promoting a culture of dignity, respect, and independence for all residents.

The successful candidate will also take responsibility for governance, leadership, risk management, health & safety, training, and service development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, support, and inspire teams to deliver safe, person-centred services.
  • Ensure full compliance with HIQA regulations and follow through on inspection outcomes.
  • Drive continuous quality improvement through audits and Quality Improvement Plans.
  • Oversee referrals, admissions, and transition processes.
  • Promote a culture of dignity, respect, and independence for all residents.
  • Take responsibility for governance, leadership, risk management, health & safety, training, and service development.
Requirements
  • A Level 7+ Degree in Social Care, Nursing, or Social Care Management.
  • Minimum of 2 years' management experience at PIC level (or above) within Disability Services or another relevant human service.
  • Strong knowledge of HIQA regulations, safeguarding legislation, and person-centred planning.
  • A full driver's licence and access to own transport.
