HR Generalist Position

We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our team in Cork. This is a full-time, permanent role that will play a key part in shaping the future of our organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the HR Manager with strategic initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions integration and organisational design.
  • Lead and implement HR initiatives across Irish operations, ensuring seamless execution and excellent outcomes.
  • Coach line managers on performance management, employee engagement, issue resolution, and leadership capability development.
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, ensuring candidates are a strong cultural and functional fit.
  • Liaise with recruitment agencies and evaluate the performance of preferred suppliers.
  • Oversee a structured and engaging induction process for all new hires, guaranteeing a smooth transition into their roles.
  • Identify and coordinate training needs through quarterly business reviews and leadership input, ensuring employees remain up-to-date with industry best practices.
  • Maintain accurate training records and ensure compliance through the training matrix.
  • Support succession planning and development of high-potential talent, driving growth and innovation within the organisation.
  • Provide expert guidance on employee relations matters, including performance, absence, and disciplinary issues.
  • Ensure all employment practices comply with Irish legislation, maintaining a proactive approach to regulatory requirements.
  • Champion employee engagement through surveys, feedback, and culture-building initiatives, fostering a positive work environment.
  • Administer employee benefits and manage provider relationships in collaboration with brokers, guaranteeing optimal value for employees.
  • Ensure salary and bonus structures align with internal frameworks and market trends, promoting fair compensation and motivation.
  • Maintain GDPR-compliant employee records and documentation, safeguarding sensitive information.
