As a leading food manufacturer in Ireland, we are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring all electrical wiring and drawings are up-to-date and compliant with current industry practices and codes.
  • Implementing and managing preventative maintenance programs for milling and packaging equipment, including pneumatic systems.
  • Troubleshooting and repairing electrical and mechanical issues to maintain continuous operation of equipment.
  • Providing technical support for the site, including guidance and hands-on troubleshooting as needed.
  • Maintaining close monitoring of line and machine performance, intervening swiftly if there's any decline in KPIs.
Requirements:
  • Relevant electrical qualification required.
  • Proven experience in electro-maintenance, including working with PLCs, 3-phase motors, control systems, and pneumatic systems.
  • Experience with PLC programming and computer networks, with strong computer skills.
  • Familiarity with milling, packing, and food processing equipment is an advantage.
Preferred Skills:
  • Understanding of food industry standards.
  • Ability to work well in a team, demonstrating initiative and leadership when required.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required for call-outs and breakdowns.
