Job Title: Senior Supply Chain Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Senior Supply Chain Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing procurement and sourcing functions, including developing short and long-term category strategies, collaborating with suppliers, and ensuring efficient internal customer experiences.

As a key member of our supply chain team, you will create integrated processes among internal functions and outside suppliers, promoting alignment and understanding business and customer needs. You will also ensure thorough management of purchase requisitions, vendor scheduling, and inventory reporting.

Your primary responsibilities will include developing and maintaining best practice systems and procedures, coordinating the operation of relevant aspects of the site's supply chain processes in line with corporate guidelines and procedures. Additionally, you will ensure other departments are trained on purchasing guidelines and SAP/MASQ approval processes.

You will work closely with supply chain personnel and other key departments to ensure high levels of customer service, prepare weekly and annual purchasing and shipping schedules, and monitor production plans to realign the purchasing strategy as needed.

Key performance indicators (KPIs) for cost savings and continuous improvement will be developed and reported upon where relevant. You will manage and right-size the supplier base to achieve objectives related to financial performance, quality, supply chain efficiency, security, and sustainability.

This role requires strong negotiation skills, fluency in English, and solid knowledge of procurement management principles and practices. A background in leading teams and experience working in project contexts is preferred.

Requirements:
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in complex industries
  • Experience in procurement management on a pharmaceutical manufacturing plant (preferred)
  • SAP experience mandatory
  • Strong leadership and negotiation skills
  • Fluency in English
  • Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders
