Mechanical and Electrical Estimator Role

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) estimator to join our team. As a key member of our construction division, you will play a critical role in preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for large-scale projects in Ireland and Europe.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with project teams to understand client requirements and project specifications.
  • Analyse blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates.
  • Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes to ensure competitiveness.
  • Conduct site visits and assessments to gather relevant information for estimating.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, materials, and labor costs.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as an M&E Estimator within the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems and components.
  • Proficient in using estimating software and tools.
  • Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and under tight deadlines.
