Based in Cork, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking team working on high-value projects across pharma, life sciences, and industrial sectors.
?? Key Responsibilities Prepare accurate mechanical cost estimates for projects of varying scale.
Analyse drawings, specifications, and tender documents to define scope.
Conduct material and labour take-offs using tender documentation.
Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing.
Assemble compliant and compelling bid packages.
Liaise with project managers and directors throughout the tender lifecycle.
Attend internal and client-facing pre/post tender meetings.
Track project variations and support monthly claims and reporting.
Contribute to value engineering and cost-saving initiatives.
?? What Were Looking For Degree qualification or trade background in construction.
3+ years experience in estimating roles, ideally with large-scale projects.
Experience in pharmaceutical or regulated environments is a plus.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and estimating software (e.g., Total Estimating).
A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous learning.
