Job Title: Highways and Active Travel Infrastructure Project LeaderThis is a key leadership position that plays a pivotal role in driving the success of our Sustainable Infrastructure team.We are seeking an experienced project leader to join our team, responsible for overseeing the delivery of highways and active travel infrastructure projects from concept to completion.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, with experience in leading multi-disciplinary teams and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.This is an excellent opportunity for a senior professional looking to take their career to the next level, working on high-profile projects that make a real difference to communities across Ireland.About the Role:
  • To lead and manage cross-functional teams to deliver infrastructure projects efficiently and effectively
  • To ensure all projects are delivered to the required quality standards, on time, and within budget
  • To work closely with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to understand project requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs
  • To identify and mitigate risks, ensuring projects are delivered safely and sustainably
  • To maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven track record in project management, preferably in the infrastructure sector
  • Degree in Civil Engineering or related field, with Chartered Engineer status
  • 12+ years of post-graduate experience in design and project management of highways, greenway, and infrastructure schemes
  • Experience in delivering projects in accordance with TII Project Management Guidelines Phases 0 to 7
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills
