Senior IT Governance Professional

About the Role

This exciting opportunity exists for a highly skilled and experienced Senior IT Governance Professional to lead our IT governance function. You will be responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining effective governance structures that align with business objectives.

You will work closely with senior stakeholders to ensure that governance requirements are embedded in decision-making processes. This includes leading the development of policies, procedures and frameworks that support the management of risk and compliance.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT governance, risk and compliance, preferably from a highly regulated environment. They will possess excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present complex issues in a clear and concise manner.

A strong technical understanding of IT governance frameworks, such as COBIT or NIST, is essential. The ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders is also critical to success in this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective governance structures that align with business objectives
  • Lead the development of policies, procedures and frameworks that support the management of risk and compliance
  • Work closely with senior stakeholders to ensure that governance requirements are embedded in decision-making processes
  • Manage and maintain existing governance frameworks and ensure they remain relevant and effective
  • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the knowledge and skills of IT staff
About You
  • Strong background in IT governance, risk and compliance, preferably from a highly regulated environment
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Technical understanding of IT governance frameworks, such as COBIT or NIST
  • Ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders
  • Leadership potential, with experience in managing teams or projects
