
Maintenance Manager

As a key player in our team, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing our properties, assets, and equipment. This role is perfect for those who enjoy working behind the scenes to ensure everything runs smoothly.
Main Responsibilities- Technical Support & System Optimization:
- Maintain and optimize HVAC, refrigeration, and electrical systems to guarantee optimal performance and reliability.
- Provide expert guidance to regional teams on technical support and system optimization.
- Compliance:
- Ensure strict adherence to relevant regulations and standards, including ISO 50001 energy management certification.
- Project Management:
- Effectively manage facilities and energy-related projects and initiatives, ensuring timely completion and within budget.
- Facilities Management Coordination:
- C Coordinate seamless execution of facilities management processes and projects.
- Assist in contractor management, cost tracking, and system support.
- Contract & Standards Management:
- Review and redefine scopes of work for building service contracts, collaborating with procurement to establish robust agreements.
- Ensure best practices and standards are upheld at all times.
- Performance Monitoring & Cost Control:
- Monitor external contractor performance and track expenditure to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Conduct supplier performance reviews, including service quality audits and verification of critical maintenance and PPM schedules.
- Consultancy & Collaboration:
- Conduct store visits to promote process optimization and best practices.
- Participate in national and international audit reviews.
- Technical Expertise:
- Demonstrate advanced knowledge of HVAC, refrigeration, electrical systems, lighting, etc.
- Prior experience in facilities, maintenance, or energy management is essential.
- Project & Contractor Management:
- Proven ability to manage external contractors and service providers effectively.
- Experience in reviewing and negotiating service contracts and scopes of work.
- Analytical & Financial Acumen:
- Able to monitor and manage maintenance budgets and project costs with ease.
- Strong analytical skills to identify cost-saving opportunities and performance improvements.
- Communication & Collaboration:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Ability to lead consultancy visits and facilitate training sessions.
- Organisational Skills:
- Strong planning and coordination abilities, with attention to detail.
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities and adapting to changing demands.
- IT Proficiency:
- Familiarity with facilities management systems, maintenance tracking tools, and Google/Microsoft Office Suite.
- Flexibility:
- Willingsness to travel regionally and support ad-hoc tasks as needed.
- Full driving license is essential.
