Job Overview

We are seeking a Research Volunteer to join our team in Peru. This opportunity is designed to provide hands-on experience in sustainable project management and research skills.



About the Role
  • Support ongoing projects with a surfing-inspired NGO driving sustainability in poor Peruvian coastal communities.
  • Develop and carry out your own research project aligned with our work and focus.
  • Participate in educational seminars on topics including international development, NGO management, marketing and outreach, and research techniques.
  • Contribute to project planning, implementation, and evaluation to benefit local communities.


Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary academic team members to support existing social and scientific projects.
  • Design and execute a research project that aligns with our organization's goals and objectives.
  • Engage in educational workshops led by experienced directors on various subjects.
  • Assist in project planning, execution, and assessment for the betterment of local communities.
  • Live and work in a coastal area in northern Peru amidst a vibrant surfing culture.
