We are seeking a Speech and Language Therapist to join our team as an independent contractor.

About the Role:
  • Assess and treat individuals with communication disorders that impact their ability to interact and connect with others.
  • Work with children and young people who experience speech challenges, supporting them in achieving effective communication skills.

This role involves:

  • Improving speech clarity, language comprehension, and expression through evidence-based techniques.
  • Supporting social communication and relationship-building skills for individuals with anxiety, depression, cognitive impairments, and other conditions.
  • Providing tailored strategies for stuttering, voice issues, and delayed language development.
  • Conducting informal assessments and developing personalized therapy plans to enhance real-life communication.
  • Using interactive tools and exercises to promote effective communication skills.
  • Ongoing support and adapting therapy plans as needed to ensure optimal results.

Ideal Candidate:

  • A degree-qualified and CORU registered Speech and Language Therapist with experience working in mental health or with complex communication needs.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a passion for delivering personalized, evidence-based care.
  • Confident in freelance work and able to travel to assigned locations.
