STEM Educator and Diversity Advocate

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Education and Outreach Officer to join our team in delivering the STEM Passport for Inclusion programme of education to students in secondary schools.
Main Responsibilities:- Develop, implement and deliver educational programmes that promote equality and diversity.
- Design and develop CPD and micro-credential programmes in mentoring for equality.
- Establish and maintain partnerships with educational institutions to enhance research collaboration and networking opportunities across the sector.
- Sustain and conduct high-quality research that supports the university's research strategy, including affiliating with research institutes and collaborating with colleagues on national and international projects.
- Generate publications of an international standard pertaining to equality, diversity, and inclusion.
- Develop and lead workshops, training sessions, and knowledge exchange events on key areas around gender balance and equality.
- Provide expert advice and support on EDI issues.
- Develop and implement a Gender Equality Plan that assesses research community needs and promotes research community cohesions.
- A minimum 3 years' experience in a relevant field.
- An honours degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent qualifications.
- Excellent project management, analytical and report writing skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills.
- The ability to work effectively in national multi-partner collaborative projects.
- A full driving licence.
