Engine Room Artificer Career Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer/Technician to join our team as a Direct Entry Engine Room Artificer (ERA). As an ERA, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing critical onboard systems including propulsion, power generation, and auxiliary machinery.

\

Your key duties will include preventative maintenance, fault diagnosis, and participation in emergency response operations at sea. To succeed in this role, you should possess a strong foundation in Marine or Mechanical Engineering, with relevant certifications such as HETAC Level 7 or national equivalent.

\

You will also require excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. We offer a competitive salary package, including annual increments and allowances for overseas service.

  • Irish citizenship or legal entitlement to work in Ireland\
  • Meeting medical, physical, and security clearance standards\
  • Age between 18-39 years on the date of application\
  • Relevant qualifications in Marine or Mechanical Engineering\
  • Participation in a fitness test, competency-based interview, medical exam, and Garda vetting\
