Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and supportive pharmacy team as a Pharmacy Technician. You will be responsible for assisting Pharmacists with prescription preparation and dispensing, providing exceptional customer service, managing stock control and ordering, processing prescription claims, and contributing to a positive and professional work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and dispensing of prescriptions under the supervision of the Pharmacist.
  • Provide excellent customer service, offering advice and support to patients.
  • Manage stock control and ordering, ensuring the dispensary is well-organised and fully stocked.
  • Process prescription claims and maintain compliance with pharmacy regulations.
  • Work as part of a collaborative team, contributing to a positive and professional work environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Pharmacy Technician qualification (IPU, Higher Certificate, or equivalent).
  • Previous experience in a retail or community pharmacy setting is desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a busy environment.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
