Security Guard Job

We are seeking a reliable and flexible Security Guard to join our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and safety of warehouse stock, premises, and colleagues. This includes managing access control, patrolling the site, screening and searching, dealing with incidents, responding to customer requests, and maintaining records and audits.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and be able to work independently as part of a team. An SIA Door Supervision or Security Guarding license is essential for the role, and we can provide exceptional training and certification for the right candidate.

You will need 5 years checkable history and references, and to pass a criminal record check to the required standards. Full training, uniform, health and safety equipment (PPE), on-site refreshments, and free car-parking are provided.

This is a full-time position with a range of flexible solutions and relief roles available. We operate continuously and welcome applicants who are reliable, flexible, and have great communication skills.

Schedule: 12-hour shift

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage access control for employees, visitors, and contractors
  2. Patrol the site on foot to deter and detect stock loss
  3. Screen and search
  4. Deal professionally with incidents including positive searches
  5. Respond to customer requests and queries
  6. Maintain records and audits using computer- and paper-based systems

Requirements:

  • SIA Door Supervision or Security Guarding license
  • 5 years checkable history and references
