Obstetrician & Gynaecologist Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Obstetrician and Gynaecologist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality obstetric and gynaecological services at our hospital.
  • They will also be required to provide education, training, and audit in relation to these services.
  • The position requires the ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to the overall success of our department.

Candidate Profile:

  • A fully trained specialist in Obstetrics and Gynecology is essential for this role.
  • Registration as a Specialist in the Specialist Division of the Register of Medical Practitioners maintained by the Medical Council of Ireland is mandatory.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and teamwork skills are necessary to succeed in this position.
  • The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical governance and risk management skills, as well as proven experience in managing research and training staff.

Job Requirements:

  • Demonstrated expertise in Obstetrics and Gynecology is required.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and work as a team member is essential.
  • General Accountability for duties and functions pertinent to the Consultant's area of competence is necessary.
