We are seeking an experienced midwife to lead our maternity team in providing high-quality care to women and newborns.
About the Role:
This is a unique opportunity for a senior midwife to take on a leadership role in our busy hospital, working closely with obstetricians and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of midwives to provide efficient and effective care to patients
- Collaborate with obstetricians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate records and reports as required
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient experience
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A degree in Midwifery or related field
- Registration on the Register of Nurses and Midwives maintained by the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Ireland (Bord Altranais agus Cnáimhseachais na hÉireann)
- Minimum 7 years' relevant midwifery experience, including 3 years at the level of at least CMM2
- Demonstrate significant depth and breadth of midwifery experience
- Evidence of relevant Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
- Evidence of change management experience in an acute setting
