Site Supervisor

The role of a Site Supervisor is a vital position in ensuring the smooth execution of construction projects. In this capacity, you will be responsible for overseeing all on-site operations to guarantee compliance with safety protocols and adherence to project drawings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage site activities to ensure efficient progress while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
  • Coordinate technical and engineering requirements, including RFIs, Submittals, and Shop Drawings, to facilitate seamless project delivery.
  • Utilize precision surveying tools to accurately measure and lay out site works, ensuring precise measurements and layouts.
  • Implement quality control measures in accordance with the overall BCAR plan, promoting excellence in project execution.
  • Collaborate with consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, and quantity surveyors to achieve effective planning and construction outcomes.
  • Support the Project Manager/Contracts Manager in ensuring works are completed as per programme, within budget, and to a high standard.
Requirements:
  • Hold a third-level qualification in Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Possess knowledge of various construction types and techniques.
  • Have 2-4 years' experience working on Irish construction projects.
  • Be proficient in all aspects of set out, survey, and level, temporary works coordination.
  • Demonstrate strong numeracy and report writing skills.
  • Exhibit the ability to develop plans and execute them within budget and timeline constraints.
