Civil CAD Technician Position

We are partnering with a leading engineering consultancy in Ireland to seek a skilled Civil CAD Technician to join their civil engineering team.

This consultancy provides innovative design solutions across infrastructure and public realm projects, offering a supportive work environment for technicians to develop their skills and contribute to impactful engineering outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with engineers to prepare detailed drawing packages for planning and construction stages.
  • Evaluate and ensure compliance with applicable standards for efficient delivery of civil engineering design projects.
  • Contribute to the production of high-quality civil drawings and models as part of civil infrastructure schemes.

Requirements:

  • Degree in CAD, Civil Engineering Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Previous experience as a CAD Technician in civil engineering or a consultancy setting.
  • Strong AutoCAD skills; Civil 3D experience is beneficial.
  • A solid understanding of civil engineering design principles and drawing standards.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • A team-oriented approach with the ability to meet project deadlines.
