Project Director Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Director to oversee the construction of a high-rise residential housing development in South Dublin.

  • Coordinate and monitor construction drawings, specifications, and work requirements to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Liaise with the design team to guarantee works meet quality and programme standards.
  • Provide strategic leadership to project teams, directing and managing personnel, site staff, and subcontractors.
  • Manage and coordinate weekly progress meetings, workshops, and plan actions to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Monitor construction to verify quality of work and identify potential issues early.
  • Liaise with local authorities as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Construction Management or equivalent (Third-level qualification) is essential.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Project Manager with a Main Contractor.
  • Experience managing new build apartment schemes is required.
  • Background in engineering is desirable.
  • Ability to effectively manage site programme and associated schedules to required deadlines.
  • Experience managing multiple subcontractors at a time.
  • Thorough knowledge of computer and database applications such as Microsoft Office and Project/PowerPoint with Excellent IT skills and good digital and visual presentational skills.
