The ideal candidate will have expertise in schedule management, resource planning, and performance analysis. Key responsibilities include:
  • Create and maintain baseline project schedules, defining critical paths, milestones, and work breakdown structures (WBS).
  • Lead interactive planning workshops, ensuring robust and realistic schedules based on best practices and benchmarking data.
  • Align schedules with project deliverables, execution strategies, and contractual requirements.
  • Update schedules, validate progress, and ensure schedule accuracy in line with complex infrastructure project requirements.
  • Identify and analyze variances, reporting key performance metrics such as Earned Value (EV), Schedule Performance Index (SPI), and Cost Performance Index (CPI).
  • Define and track resource allocation and man-hours, ensuring alignment with cost controls.
  • Generate detailed project reports, trending charts, and schedule analyses. Lead progress updates and stakeholder communications.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you should possess:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Experience with project planning software, preferably Primavera P6.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., critical path method, earned value analysis).
  • Background in project planning, analysis, and reporting within the transportation, urban development, or infrastructure sectors.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and deadline management.
  • Strong report writing, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to lead meetings and collaborate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
