Job Title: Construction Project Director

 

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven leader to oversee multiple construction project teams in the Central region. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety and quality, with excellent communication and leadership skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project execution from initiation to closeout, staff development, and operational performance. This includes leading construction project teams to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget.

You will establish goals, develop execution plans, monitor performance, and oversee contracts, estimates, and budgets. Regular performance reviews and collaboration with project managers to resolve issues are essential.

Your role involves direct supervision of all project-specific operations, including preconstruction, estimating, procurement, project management, construction site management, and safety. You will also manage change processes and develop new business opportunities.

As a Construction Project Director, you will be responsible for hiring, training, and developing project staff. Site visits to monitor progress are expected.

You will collaborate with various departments and mitigate project risks with senior leadership. Acting as a secondary contact for clients, you will help expand our presence in the Central region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead construction project teams to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget.
  • Manage project execution from initiation to closeout.
  • Develop and implement execution plans, monitoring performance and overseeing contracts, estimates, and budgets.
  • Collaborate with project managers to resolve issues and conduct regular performance reviews.
  • Hire, train, and develop project staff.
  • Supervise project-specific operations, including preconstruction, estimating, procurement, project management, construction site management, and safety.
  • Develop new business opportunities and help expand our presence in the Central region.
