Job Description:

This role involves pricing Personal Lines Home or Motor products. Responsibilities include proposing and building front-end pricing rates and structures using Actuarial techniques to ensure the achievement of operational plans.

The individual may also be required to perform actuarial peer review for work completed by others within the team, leading projects, deep dives, ad hoc reviews, radar or model builds, and support strategy conversations and considerations.

Key responsibilities include building, maintaining, and improving relevant radar models involved in new business and renewal pricing, monitoring rate leakage and actual versus expected reviews, striving for technical excellence, and constantly improving all aspects associated with pricing sophistication.

The role requires a champion of machine learning techniques, identifying areas for development, working with actuaries to specify and review claims models, completing peer reviews for analyses, rate change proposals, and model builds.
