Global Trade Coordinator Role

This is a key position in our dynamic team based in Abbey Quarter, Co. Kilkenny, requiring Logistics administration expertise.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Establish and develop effective relationships with customers, suppliers, agents, and internal teams.
  • Manage the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process, collaborating with External Vendors to achieve business objectives.
  • Responsible for loading rate cards in SAP and processing payments in a timely manner.
  • Support the picking team lead and ultimately the Exports Manager in achieving strategic goals.
  • Control, manage, and maintain all exports and imports, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Process customer orders via the VL10G report within SAP, adhering to Incoterms and customer instructions.
  • Liaise with external parties to prepare loads and communicate special instructions, including Transport and Warehousing arrangements.
  • Maintain knowledge of product groups within the scope of the picking team.
  • Be adaptable as the role may include other administrative duties as required.
  • Prepare documents according to country-specific import requirements.
  • Collaborate with planning, quality, customer service, or other departments to ensure product availability, grading, and credit.
  • Maintain knowledge of SAP and S&D specific requirements.
  • Elevate any issues to the team lead promptly.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or equivalent experience in an Export/Logistics role or related field.
  • Ability to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Results-driven, performance-focused individual in a fast-paced business environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and familiar with SAP or equivalent ERP processes.
  • Strong communication skills with multi-functional stakeholders, including customers.
  • Dedicated to meeting expectations and requirements of internal and external customers.
  • Organized and meticulous, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Able to work well both as part of a team or independently.
