Job Title: Campus Support Professional

As a key member of our campus team, you will be the first point of contact for students, staff, and visitors, providing essential information and directing them to the right resources.

Responsibilities:

  • Greeting and Assisting: Greet students, staff, and guests at the campus information hub desk, ensuring everyone feels welcome.
  • Maintaining a Professional Environment: Keep the reception area clean, tidy, and professionally presented.
  • Security Protocols: Implement security measures, including issuing and monitoring ID cards for students, staff, and visitors, and maintaining a record of all visitors on campus.
  • Responding to Enquiries: Provide excellent first-line responses to student enquiries in person, by phone, or by email, triaging efficiently and directing them to appropriate resources.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with all on-campus departments to ensure the Information Hub serves as a comprehensive resource for students, with up-to-date information.
  • Administrative Support: Assist college teams with administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements:

  • Education: A good level of general education, including English and Maths.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a customer service and/or administrative role.
  • Skills: The ability to work independently while also being a cooperative team player. A positive attitude with a proactive approach to supporting students, with a friendly and empathetic demeanor. Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Professional communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
