About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Compliance Specialist to join our team in Dublin. As a key member of our Asset Wealth Management team, you will play a critical role in providing compliance advisory services and supporting business partners with regulatory requests.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of asset management regulations and be able to work effectively with cross-functional teams. If you are a motivated and detail-oriented professional with excellent analytical skills, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide compliance support and representation on AWM strategic initiatives
  2. Review and approval of financial promotion materials
  3. Provide daily compliance surveillance of GSAM portfolios for regulatory requirements and applicable policies and procedures
  4. Assistance in the production of board reports
  5. Participate in the review and evaluation of new instruments and vehicles to identify compliance issues and surveillance needs
  6. Develop and draft compliance policies and procedures, outlining firm policies, regulations and best practices
  7. Ensure breaches and complaints are logged and cover the compliance aspect of the sign off
  8. Create compliance training programs
  9. Review and approval of due diligence on third party distributors
  10. Preparation, organisation and delivery of compliance trainings
  11. Miscellaneous projects as required

Requirements:
  1. 3 years regulatory risk or compliance experience (asset management experience preferred)
  2. Highly motivated risk and control focused individual with excellent judgment
  3. Knowledge of investment instruments including derivatives
  4. General compliance knowledge and familiarity with CBI and FCA regulations, MiFID, UCITS, AIFMD and SFDR
  5. Effective analytical and organizational skills
  6. Strong verbal and written communication skills
  7. Ability to handle multiple tasks with attention to detail and work under pressure
  8. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
