High Voltage Engineer Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled High Voltage Engineer to join our team in Lysaghtstown, Cork. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising the implementation of maintenance plans and supporting teams.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise the implementation of maintenance plans and support teams;
  • Promote and supervise the implementation of procedures and guidelines within technical teams;
  • Comply with and promote good practices, legal, and HSE requirements within technical teams;
  • Perform regular on-site technical inspections within technical teams;
  • Support coordination, follow-up, and report services provided by O&M field teams and subcontractors;
  • Support coordination between onsite teams and remote services;
  • Participate hands-on in preventive maintenance or corrective activities for troubleshooting and diagnostic of failures with O&M technicians;
  • Assist the O&M Site Manager in coordinating a structure and adequate resources for implementing and managing O&M contracts of PV plants;
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience and Education:
  • At least 5 years of experience in renewable energy (solar, wind, hydroelectric energy, or other);
  • Certification in high voltage engineering or equivalent qualification;
  • Maintenance management processes and systems;
  • High Voltage Switching, HV AP/SAP, and Power Electronics;
  • Knowledge of technical design;
  • Microsoft Office;
  • Availability to travel within the country for limited periods and on short notice;
