Maintenance Painter Job Opportunity

About the Role:

This is an exceptional opportunity to join our hotel team as a skilled Maintenance Assistant - Painter.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To maintain all facilities to the highest standard, ensuring regular painting and upkeep of areas.
  • To perform duties in line with departmental standards manuals, focusing on Leading Quality Assurance.
  • To act as a communication channel for telephone and email enquiries, providing prompt responses.
  • To liaise with departments to efficiently handle guest requests.
  • Daily rectification of maintenance issues.
  • To monitor and control costs, energy consumption, and other key performance indicators.
  • To conduct regular hotel inspections to identify maintenance requirements.
  • Eliminate potential risks and hazards to ensure guest safety.
  • To immediately check and replace used fire extinguishers.
  • Monitor purchasing activities in accordance with purchasing policy.
  • To maintain a safe and secure environment for guests, employees, and visitors.
  • Operate equipment according to trained instructions and maintain it in clean working condition.
  • Use and store hazardous substances according to trained instructions.
  • Prioritize and complete tasks according to departmental standards and timeframe.
  • To ensure all work meets safety standards.
  • Manage stocks at required levels.
  • Assist the Facilities Manager with the Preventative Maintenance program.
