Job Title: Site Manager

 

  • Day to Day Operational Management: Oversight of all onsite material processing, recovery and final disposal.
  • Health Safety and Wellbeing: Responsibility for the health, safety and wellbeing of all operational personnel.
  • Compliance: Ensuring compliance with Environment Agency site permit and all applicable legislation.
  • Leadership Role: Playing an active and leading role in the on-site senior management team.
  • Liaising with Colleagues: Effective liaison with colleagues to ensure material is transported from site in line with offtake agreements and fully compliant with the site permit.
  • Competency Assessments: Delivering safety briefings, tool box talks and undertaking competency assessments to all operations personnel.
  • Plant Availability and Material Throughputs: Maximising plant availability and material throughputs whilst maintaining compliance with the specification required for all material outputs.
  • Cost Management: Effective management of all associated costs.

 

Requirements:

 

  • 5–7 years of experience in a supervisory or site management role.
  • Previous experience in waste management, construction, or industrial environments is desirable.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
