Safety Manager

To ensure the safe operation of our facilities and support regulatory obligations, we are seeking an experienced professional to manage safety, health, and environmental compliance across our power generation sites.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead compliance with all health and safety legislative requirements.
- Manage and implement a comprehensive SHE Management System, ensuring consistent application and improvement.
- Oversee statutory compliance, liaising with regulatory bodies and supporting COMAH/SEVESO requirements.
- Conduct and lead audits, risk assessments, and safety investigations, ensuring robust follow-up and documentation.
- Support emergency response planning, contractor compliance, training needs, and safety performance reporting.
- Degree-level qualification in Health & Safety Management or a related discipline or equivalent experience.
- Senior Health & Safety role experience, preferably in industrial or high-risk sectors. Understanding of power generation operations is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of Irish Health & Safety legislation, with auditing qualifications preferred.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to translate complex safety standards.
- Methodical and analytical mindset with strong organisational, planning, and IT skills.
