Health and safety is paramount in our projects. We require an experienced Health and Safety Advisor to oversee the health, safety, and well-being of all personnel onsite. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective EHS policies, procedures, and programs to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure adherence to safety standards.
  • Lead investigations into accidents, incidents, and near-misses, and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Liaise with project managers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure effective communication and implementation of safety measures.
  • Monitor and report on health and safety performance, ensuring continuous improvement in safety practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest health and safety legislation and industry trends, advising management on necessary changes.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • A degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in a Health and Safety role, particularly within the construction or civil engineering sector.
  • Knowledge of health and safety legislation and regulations in Ireland.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills.
  • Proficiency in Office/Office365 environment (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
