Lead Software Engineering Team

Become an engineering leader for a high-impact team at the forefront of digital currency product innovation.

You'll lead a multidisciplinary engineering team, creating impact and raising the bar by running a high-performing team. Delivering platform requirements derived from product strategy in partnership with Principal Engineers and Product Managers will have a direct impact on business revenue. Ownership of delivering software with high quality and in a suitable timeframe by applying the right strategy and skills is crucial.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with engineering and product leaders to shape team roadmaps for execution using agile methodologies.
  • Support your team to deliver the roadmaps effectively while working collaboratively with Engineering Managers, Product Managers, and Principal Engineers to drive impactful initiatives.
  • Own the delivery of key milestones in your domain, set clear goals and objectives, monitor progress, and proactively address any obstacles or bottlenecks.
  • Line manage your team, ensuring engineers have the support and guidance needed to grow their careers.
  • Ensure your team is set up for success and embodies company operating principles.
  • Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and inclusive team culture.
  • Drive hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members to strengthen team skills and cohesion.
  • Foster a mindset of continuous improvement in your team's engineering processes, methodologies, and tools for optimal productivity and collaboration.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Ability to lead engineering teams that deliver high impact.
  • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making abilities.
  • Solid track record of delivering scalable products in partnership with engineering and product leadership.
  • Hands-on experience with agile methodologies and project management tools.
  • Experience developing and supporting a team of engineers in their personal growth and career progression.

The ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment with a high degree of autonomy and strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for this role.
