Job Title: Inventory Logistics Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Inventory Logistics Specialist to manage demand planning, oversee material planning and production scheduling, track daily product performance, and coordinate US outbound finished goods logistics.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Developing finished goods demand forecast in partnership with US commercial teams.
  • Working with our contract manufacturer to assure supply commitment meets the demand forecast, ensuring timely procurement of raw materials, and monitoring daily production performance to ensure monthly demand forecast will be achieved.
  • Providing production and delivery updates to internal stakeholders.

Logistics and Distribution

The ideal candidate will plan and coordinate outbound logistics activities to US, optimizing sea vs. air freight channels to minimize cost without impacting product availability. This includes liaising with contract manufacturer warehouse and 3rd party logistics teams to coordinate shipments and deliveries, collaborating with logistics providers to optimize cost, lead times, and service levels, and tracking shipments and proactively resolving delivery issues.

Inventory Management

Responsibilities also include ensuring monthly demand forecast supports revenue plan and business inventory & safety stock targets, maintaining optimal finished goods inventory levels while minimizing excess air freight of finished goods, and predicting forward-looking inventory levels to enable effective working capital and cash flow management.

Qualifications and Skills

The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree or relevant experience in Supply Chain, Production Planning, Engineering, or related field, with minimum 2 years' experience in either a production, supply or demand planning role. Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems is essential, as well as understanding of FDA medical device regulations and Good Distribution Practices.
