Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Nursing Leader to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for driving clinical excellence, developing and implementing policies and procedures, and providing guidance and support to nursing staff.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the delivery of person-centered care to residents, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve clinical outcomes, patient satisfaction, and staff engagement.
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance management to nursing staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork.
  • Act as a trusted point of contact for residents, families, and healthcare professionals, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
Requirements:
  • NMBI registration as a Registered Nurse with at least 2 years management experience and 3 years in a nursing home within the past 6 years.
  • QQI Level 6 in Management or Leadership.
  • Post-registration qualification in gerontology and/or dementia care (desirable).
