The Electrical Site Supervisor role is a critical position in supporting the organization and coordination of site-based activities. The successful candidate will lead and coordinate teams of Electrical Engineering trade professionals on site, ensuring quality, timeliness, and safety in a fast-paced environment.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead by example to ensure a safe workplace and systems of work.
- Supervise activity/work package delivery to meet project objectives.
- Maintain accurate daily activity logs to track progress.
- Liaise with trade professionals to organize new work areas, maximizing productivity and efficiency.
- Collaborate with subcontractors on materials orders to minimize delays.
- Direct and manage direct site staff, assigning them to designated work areas as required.
- Participate in regular site meetings with site management to discuss progress and address concerns.
- Provide technical support to trade teams to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- Possess a Senior Trades qualification or equivalent, demonstrating relevant expertise.
- Bring at least 5+ years of site experience in pharmaceutical/medical device, commercial, industrial, or data centre sectors.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of site activities and planning, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
- Have a general knowledge of Electrical, Utilities, Cable Sizing, Transformers, etc., to provide informed guidance.
- Familiarity with materials ordering and lead times is essential for effective supply chain management.
- Strive for exceptional client focus, building strong relationships and delivering results that meet expectations.
- Demonstrate commercial acumen, making informed decisions that balance business needs with operational requirements.
- Excellent communication skills are crucial for effective collaboration and information sharing.
