Job Title: Accounts Administrator

Perform daily banking tasks, maintain store receipts and payments.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure all lodgments are ready for collection.
  • Follow refunds and credits procedure, maintaining an accurate refund summary report.
  • Process admin payments onto the system in a timely manner.
  • Spot check daily float bags for accuracy.
  • Report tender discrepancies to the administration manager.
  • Review debtors reconciliation to ensure it balances and investigate variances.
  • File delivery dockets and match them with supplier invoices when received.
  • Match invoices to corresponding delivery dockets, ensuring price, product, and quantity match.
  • Run and check prop approved reports against FAM reports when received.
  • Check stock adjustment periodic reports daily and account for cost adjustments/variances.
  • Ensure supplier reconciliations are actioned and completed by required time.
  • Action error reports from Head Office immediately.
  • Raise and process credit claims as required.
  • Send copies of claims to relevant areas.
  • Check off claims against stock adjustment periodic reports before processing and correct any variances.
  • Match credit notes to credit claims and process accordingly.
  • Prepare paperwork for stock take financial result and month end submission.
  • Complete filing of store documentation as required.
  • Read, understand, and implement relevant memorandums.
  • Act promptly on requests made by Brent House.
