Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will provide a range of psychological services to children and families within the Children's Disability Network Team. This includes:
  1. Conducting diagnostic assessments in children and young people, including Autistic Spectrum Disorder and Intellectual Disabilities
  2. Developing and implementing interventions to support children and families
  3. Collaborating with healthcare professionals, educators, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality care
  4. Supporting staff and students as assigned

Required Qualifications and Experience

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess a university degree or diploma in psychology, obtained with 1st or 2nd class honors. They must also have an Irish postgraduate professional psychology qualification accredited by the Psychological Society of Ireland in Clinical, Counselling, or Educational Psychology. In addition, applicants should demonstrate competence in the relevant Care Group/s applied for and have acquired supervised clinical placements or post-qualification work experience. Membership in the Psychological Society of Ireland or British Psychological Society is also required.
