Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned professional to oversee the development and execution of our grid strategy.

About the Role

This key position will entail managing all aspects of grid operations for our portfolio, including connection applications, delivery, commissioning, and optimization.

  • Work closely with assets teams in Ireland and the UK to create a comprehensive grid asset strategy.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of key grid and regulatory developments to inform consultation responses and industry engagement.
  • Support the business in interpreting technical policy related to grid operations, identifying opportunities for existing and new grid-based projects.
  • Represent us at industry forums and engagements with TSOs and DSOs.
  • Identify suitable opportunities for location and technology solutions on the grid.
  • Collaborate with other team members to scope, assess, and negotiate technical and commercial aspects of projects.
  • Provide assumptions for value drivers of projects associated with network connection and operation costs.
  • Conduct due diligence on potential investment opportunities with SMEs from various disciplines.
