Renewable Energy Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Renewable Energy Specialist to join our team in Cork, Ireland. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing renewable energy systems, including wind farms, solar energy infrastructure, and energy storage projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of renewable energy technologies, including solar PV, wind energy, and energy storage systems. They will also have excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and developing renewable energy systems, including wind farms, solar energy infrastructure, and energy storage projects.
  • Conducting feasibility studies, energy modelling, risk assessments, and environmental impact analyses.
  • Collaborating with clients and stakeholders to optimise energy solutions.
  • Supporting grid connection planning and infrastructure development.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Energy Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in renewable energy, power systems, or grid infrastructure within the Irish or UK market is desirable but not mandatory.
  • Knowledge of solar PV, wind energy, energy storage systems, and grid integration is highly desirable.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of renewable energy technologies.
