Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and manage all HR policies and procedures in line with employment legislation and company standards.
- Partner with the General Manager and Heads of Department to support workforce planning, talent acquisition, and succession planning.
- Lead end-to-end recruitment processes, from advertising roles to onboarding new employees.
- Oversee training and development programmes to ensure continuous staff growth and skill enhancement.
- Provide guidance and support to management and staff on employee relations, performance management, and disciplinary matters.
- Manage HR administration, including contracts, personnel files, payroll liaison, and compliance reporting.
- Monitor employee engagement, implement retention strategies, and promote a positive work environment.
- Ensure compliance with all health & safety and employment law requirements.
- Act as a trusted point of contact for all HR-related matters, maintaining confidentiality at all times.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years HR management experience, preferably within a 4* or 5* hotel or high-volume hospitality environment.
- CIPD qualification or equivalent (desirable).
- In-depth knowledge of Irish employment law and HR best practices.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
- Proven ability to handle sensitive issues with professionalism and discretion.
- A solutions-focused, hands-on approach to HR management.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
