Civil Engineering Planner Job

Our company seeks a highly skilled Civil Engineering Planner to manage construction planning and programme development for projects in Dublin.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the Primavera P6 programme for NEC highway projects and ensure data storage within our Enterprise Database.
  • Provide project support to the construction team, including evaluating critical path points, testing logic, and refining tender programmes.
  • Produce detailed programmes, reports, and extract filters as needed by the construction team, encompassing deviation from the baseline programme in P6 format.
  • Attend regular progress meetings with internal and external customers, presenting tender programmes and providing updates.
  • Coordinate designers' and suppliers' programmes to integrate their sequence of works into the overall construction programme.
Requirements:
  • A strong understanding of the construction process and engineering principles to plan works and develop designs.
  • Experience in delivering civil engineering projects at delivery stage, proficiency in Primavera P6 software, and general awareness of commercial issues.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, strong written and verbal communication skills, and organisational abilities to attend meetings with key stakeholders.
