Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain relationships with key media contacts.
  • Draft all press releases and official statements.
  • Act as the first point of contact for media enquiries.
  • Monitor media coverage and provide regular performance reports.
Publications & Content Strategy
  • Lead on the production of high-quality publications, including annual reports and policy briefs.
  • Manage the editorial process through to layout and delivery.
  • Ensure all content aligns with brand tone, voice and accuracy standards.
Social Media Management
  • Manage and grow an organisation's presence across LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram and emerging platforms.
  • Develop engaging multimedia content to highlight events, policy positions and member achievements.
  • Track engagement metrics and adjust strategy to maximise impact.
Internal Communications
  • Draft regular newsletters, e-bulletins and internal announcements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to communicate initiatives and campaigns.
  • Ensure inclusive, accessible and member-focused messaging throughout.
Policy Research & Support
  • Conduct research and compile briefings to inform internal policy work.
  • Monitor and summarise policy updates and circulars.
Executive & Event Support
  • Support speechwriting, briefing creation and presentation development for senior leadership.
  • Assist in the planning and delivery of key meetings, events and campaigns.
  • Maintain organised archives of internal communications and key outputs.
