Water Resource Management SpecialistJob Title: Water Resource Management Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Water Resource Management Specialist to join our team in Ireland.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hydrogeology, environmental science, or a related field, with experience in managing groundwater resources and conducting hydrogeological assessments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct groundwater investigations, sampling, and data analysis using modeling software such as MODFLOW and GMS.
  • Develop and manage groundwater monitoring programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Assess the impacts of developments on groundwater resources and provide advice on remediation strategies.
  • Design and supervise monitoring well installations to collect high-quality data.
  • Prepare technical reports and interpret hydrogeological data to inform decision-making.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including clients and regulatory bodies, to ensure effective communication and project delivery.
  • Perform fieldwork and adhere to health and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Hydrogeology, Geology, Environmental Science, or related field; postgraduate qualification preferred.
  • Professional experience in hydrogeology, preferably in a related field.
  • Proficiency in hydrogeological software (e.g., MODFLOW, GMS) and experience with GIS and data analysis.
  • Strong report writing and communication skills, with ability to present complex information to non-technical audiences.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities, with capacity to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Full driving license and willingness to travel for fieldwork.
